L-Tyrosine is provided in a moderate dose of 300mg per capsule. The Ashwagandha extract (Withania somnifera) is standardised to 10% Withanolides (150mg) and the Guggul extract (Commiphora mukul) to 2% Esterones (30mg).
Selenium is provided as Selenomethionine (100µg, 200% NRV) and Zinc as Bisglycinate (5mg), two highly bioavailable forms compared to inorganic versions.
Selenium contributes to normal thyroid function and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, Zinc contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism, and Vitamin B2 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Thyroid Zen is an iodine-free formula, with just one vegetable capsule a day and a pack covering 3 months. Vegetarian, free from gluten, lactose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
