Red Yeast Rice is the product of rice fermented with Monascus purpureus yeast. It’s been used in China and other Asian countries for centuries as a traditional medicine.
Red Yeast Rice naturally contains several ingredients that may help control cholesterol levels. These include a number of monacolins, most importantly monacolin K. It also contains sterols, isoflavones, and monounsaturated fatty acids, or “healthy fats”. Studies have shown that RYRE can significantly lower levels of total cholesterol and specifically LDL, or “bad” cholesterol. Our Red Yeast Rice has a high percentage of Monacolin K (4%) what means 10mg of Monacolin K per capsule, which is the dose that helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.
We also added Coenzyme Q10 to compensate the interference of statins from Red Yeast Rice with levels of Coenzyme Q10.
