Light decreases melatonin production and signals the body to prepare itself to be awake. Some people who have trouble sleeping have low levels of melatonin. It’s thought that adding melatonin from supplements might help them sleep.
  • Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal synthesis of cysteine and to homocysteine, protein and glycogen metabolism. It therefore contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous and immune systems and to psychological function, helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
  • Magnesium helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue and contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and psychological function.

What is the maximum recommended dose?

We recommend 1 capsule daily half an hour before bedtime, since in Spain doses of more than 2 mg Melatonin daily are considered as medication. Although in other countries, such as the USA, the maximum limit is higher (10 mg).

Our capsules should be taken about 30 minutes before going to sleep, i.e. they exert their effects in just half an hour.

Our melatonin is of synthetic origin.
